We Love Timaru campaign flags raised again throughout town

The flags have been raised again as the We Love Timaru campaign continues its quest to attract and retain a skilled workforce to the region.

While it is difficult to quantify how many people have moved to Timaru for new jobs since the campaign's launch last August, Aoraki Development operations manager Di Hay says businesses have said that its positive messages have helped influence new residents to "take up opportunities in the town".

More flags were put up at "high profile locations" in Timaru on Tuesday, replacing the flags for the third time.
