New executive committee helps demonstrate 'forward-thinking' for Timaru CBD group

The election of a prominent Timaru developer to an executive position demonstrates the kind of "forward thinking" attitude the new town centre management group should have, its chairman says.

Members of the group tasked with breathing new life into Timaru's central business district (CBD) met this week to vote in a new executive committee.

Speights Ale House co-owner Nigel Bowen was voted in as the committee's first chairman and Hydro Grand Hotel developer Allan Booth as deputy at its inaugural meeting this week.

Aoraki Development will have representation on the group, serving as secretary and treasurer. Find out more about Aoraki Development's key projects and meet the Aoraki Development team.
